ANYDVD & DVD DRIVE HELP

The DVD are more complexes to read for the Drive so maybe ur drive is tired
For example i had a drive that after 2 year it stopped the boot process with DVD. I mean, when i was formatting my PC with a DVD such vista it never end the process only CD like XP….
I had to buy a new one…

They usually have different laser for DVD than CD, so the DVD part may have died..
u r DVD drive need a service…please contact h/w support

and recently my drive stop reading DVDs. It reads cds & the laser lens cleaner but not dvds or blank ones. Can somebody help me please?
Time to buy new one.
Try uninstalling the DVD drive reinstalling it ……….. you got to try everything when you don’t know what the fault is.
Have you got just one drive? ……… If you have two and the other drive doesn’t work properly it will cause problems on both drives. If this is the case disconnect the faulty drive inside your PC then the good drive should work OK.

its a laptop…… the 1st drive (came w/ it) i had 2 replace cause it got old i guess about a yr. or 2 ago.
now this 1 is acting up
