An Issue with SiteGrinder

August 16th, 2013

I wasn’t sure about this program at first, but now that I’ve figured it all out I love it. It’s the version that Ralkage posted a while back.
First the big issue was with the galleries but once I found a way to work around that everything was just fine. Now I’m having issues posting my site to a server. I’ve searched and searched but the only thing I’ve been able to find about how to upload are these:
1. While in the Content Manager go to Upload >> Set connections settings (this is where you will set your ftp settings and the path–hit ok) >> upload everything (if uploading for the first time).
2. Or……, while in Content Manager go to Upload >> Save site as static html. Chose a folder/place to save the site. and then use this folder to upload using an external ftp.
I’ve done #1 but it won’t upload my site unless I install something called WebDAV which my computer found a virus in so that’s a no go for me.
Honestly uploading through static html would be better for me, but the problem with that is that when I’m in the content manager it doesn’t give me the option to save the site as static html.
I really hate doing this because I learn more when I try to figure things out on my own, but I’m kind of at a dead end. I’m hoping that I’m just missing something. Any help?

Answer #1
I know double posting isn’t allowed but I really need help with this. This is the only thing that’s stopping me from uploading it to the internet.
