an issue about AVG PC TuneUp 2016

Hi guys,
I just downloaded and installed AVG PC TuneUp 2016 v16.2.1.18873 Final. What I’ve noticed, they don’t show any option about Program updates in settings at all! at all!
But if you’ll go to Program Files, You’ll see an exe file: TUAutoUpdateCheck
Why? Why they’re doing this what they’re trying? I’m a little confused!?

It would be interesting to see if it gets picked when updating..
The 2015 version I have, has the following instructions with the key gen..

A keygen I found for 2016 said the same sort of thing..

Locate the installation directory and rename the following files:
=>TUAutoUpdateCheck.exe -> TUAutoUpdateCheck.exe.bak(OR Block by your firewall)
=>UpdateWizard.exe -> UpdateWizard.exe.bak
=>Activate offline
=>Block program by your firewall
EDIT – Have just installed TU 2016 and it seems to be working fine.
Renamed =>TUAutoUpdateCheck.exe -> TUAutoUpdateCheck.exe.bak.
Then just used the keygen to register..

It’s not possible due user rights. The user must always have to have the possibilty of update settings. Turn on/off or Turn automatic mode on/off

Try telling that to Microsoft with Windows 10

You can register as an application started every time with administrator rights.

A simple topics, no need to prolong “TUAutoUpdateCheck” because AVG Acquire Tune-up utilities, Last year.AVg Pc TUU is Re branded version of TUU.My Suggestion is Use Tune-up Utilities instead of its Parents(AVG),its Fully Supported on Win 10,Light,fast.
