Alternatives for IDM

IDM is being ~ censored ~ and keeps saying data is corrupt and starts downloading the whole thing from anywhere between 15 to 70%. I would like a download manager that doesn’t try and play AIO solution. Would love some suggestions. Thanks.

Could you update your version of IDM and see if that fixes problem.
Is it all downloads this is happening to?

If you get a download that stops at 99%, then it can be that your antivirus/antimalware does not like it.
Probably not in this case but it just reminded me.
What about without a D/L manager..Any problems there?

Tried IDM and it was too intrusive in the browser for me , tried JDownloader and have never looked back .

jdownloader 2 I think works better for most file hosts. IDM, I get better speeds with premium accounts

there is only 1 real alternative which is jdownloader 2 , actually idm is an alternative to it if you dont like both and really need a third option then mipony is your best bet but it is far worse than the both in terms of filehost support and you need to be very careful while installing it otherwise it installs crapware. i never saw any other installer that tries that much deceptive methods.
i recently tried all available download clients and none can go anywhere near to either jdownloader or IDM. all i tried was standalone clients not some plugins or addons so you may also have good options among them which i really do not know.

First of all uninstall IDM and try to clean your registry[also remove the leftovers of IDM from registry] and also defrag it,then install it again.
Hope that will help you and if not then you can try JDownloader…

Thanks for the all the support guys. I tried Jdownloader, but I’m not facing the corrupted issue on IDM anymore, don’t know why it was happening so often that day. I am however having a ton of problems with my hard disk, which was probably the cause of the IDM error . I may have to change it sooner rather than later. It may be dying on me Thanks again for all your support guys.
