After a Laptop – Reasonably Priced
November 13th, 2020
I’m wanting to a buy a new laptop – I’m from the UK, so any sites which don’t ship to the UK don’t interest me I’m willing to spend between 400 – 500 no more
Won’t be gaming, just general stuff, downloading, watching films etc
A laptop with over a Gig in RAM, over 100GB for the hard drive would be great, not too fussed about the graphics card, I tend to play the old school games anyway Thanks for any help

I am sorry I don’t have a suggestion but I just wanted to say that I would NOT but an Advent laptop – I know a few people who have bought them because they are cheap but many of them are faulty and not made very well
szimonz – i agree with part of what you say, i had a advent laptop which came faulty but i sent back and got a new one and was great, then i sold on ebay as too slow for me.
But with limited funds and spec needs, this would be a great buy for this person.
As long as you have warrenty, i.e buying it brand new of pcworld, you’ll be safe and fine!
Hey thanks for the quick replies.
It does have some nice specs for the price, I’ll hunt around for some reviews on Advent.
Don’t want to be investing in another laptop which is going to break within months.
Anyone else have any other recommendations from a more reliable manufacturer? Thanks again
