what are you using it for? thats the main question, tell us what you want to use it for, although if you want a good laptop you need to pay more.

go for a netbook then.. ACER products are inexpensive but not know for their reliability

sure acer are great netbooks, but i would just get one with a 160 gb hard drive they cost about the same, also dont forget you need to buy a usb dvd drive or cd drive since it dont got one.
