Adobe Illustraitor

Hi, I was wondering if i had a adobe Ai CS1. file and i opened it with Ai CS4, edited it, then saved it in Ai CS4, would it open in Ai CS1?

Yh why not. I don’t see a problem

when you save it secet advanced options and you can select to down save it to old illustrator versions.
And yes it could cause a problem trying to open newer versions in older versions as there are things in the new versions that arent avaiable in the old ones.
