1And1 vs godaddy; which one is better?

Hello guys, If you are a website owner which domain seller will you prefer?
Let’s give some info about the two:
.com domain 1yr cost 9.99$ on godaddy
and
.com domain on 1and1 cost only 4$
which one do you prefer? I’m not sure about what is the real difference on both seller. All I know is the price.

If you are getting hosting, godaddy has slow times!! Avoid at all costs.

Terrible advice. Godaddy is a bad hosting company man, avoid them.
1and1 is one of the biggest most reliable hosting companies around.
I have been with 1and1 for over 6 years, and never once had one second of downtime (redundant hosting).
As far as domain names are concerned, use anything (except godaddy). 1and1, namecheap, any reputable company.
