Power Button on computer it self
September 21st, 2013
Unplug the computer’s default power connector and make your own which you can do anything with it.
Even hide it to make it seem that that computer doesn’t work.
Its fairly easy, just look on the motherboard instruction manual and find the 2 pins.
The thing I like about my motherboard is that it has its own on-board power button.
This saves me time to make my own switch or using a screwdriver.

You have to press and hold it down for 3-5 seconds until the PC powers off.
in the power settings/advanced I think you can set the button to “do nothing”
and in most newer BIOS’s you can set the power button to “instant off” or “4 second off”

That’s the easiest way to do it, on the power button assignment.
Some of the older Phoenix BIOS’ will allow you to change power management settings – depends on your system and the BIOS, just have a look
