STATISTICS MATHS COURSEWORK. PLEASE HELP!

January 22nd, 2020

Hi. For my maths coursework I have to analiyse a load of data. the data has to be collectedmyself and I need at least 80 pieces. It has to be continuous data (eg length of snail 2.5, 3.5, 4.3, etc NOT colour groups). For the example of the data i need that was given to me it was mice. It had male and female and for each male and female it had the lengths and weight of each femail and male mice. there would be 40 pieces of data for male and 40 for female. But obviously not this simple. I was thinking rainfall in asian and europian countries for the years 2005 and 1955 for example. So the data has to be like this: A topic(eg rainfall)
/ \
Two categories of the topic( eg Europe and Asia)
/ \ / \
Then finally two types of each category (1955 and 2005) for each category
Finally the question Im giving you guys is 1) a suitable topic and 2) a good site or even better the data I need for the topic as for the last 1/2 hour I have searched like mad and can find nothing suitable. Any help would be fantastic. Many thanks.

I would go for CANCER it has plenty of statistics and many variations. As for a site poke a stick at google and run with it.

You doing Edexcel?
I’ve just finished my edexcel Stats c/w.
I did peoples heights/weights/IQ etc
Answer #8
When I did that last year I did about:
Gender
Weight
IQ
Amount of TV watched
I managed to get an A from simply comparing it all in different ways and drawing out loads of graphs Woo!
Answer #9
Try something like a flea. Somthing minute and unseen by the common eye. Its these things that benifit the world the most.
A flea
BACTERIA is a great one.
Mosquito
Go to the extreme and outrageous.
The toilet habits of an infant of say 6 months to a year
Think out of the box.
Type “extraordinary statistics” into google or something similar and see what pops up?
