Head on to System Restore, select a date when ur PC was running fine and restore it.
Or go to Device Manager and check if the driver that u installed is OK or not.
Answer #8
resotre your computer to a time before you changed some stuff
go to Help than system restore if this solves your problem … the thing you downloaded is not working good
Answer #9
yeah ok but will system restore format my hd?
Answer #10
no it will restore it to a previous checkpoint, it will uninstall any newly installed files after the checkpoint but documents will remain where they are
Answer #11
No it won’t.
I suggest:
Using CCleaner to remove all the rubbish you have on your PC
Running a virus and Spyware scan just in case: It could be something else
Clear up some space on your primary harddrive – that drastically changes startup and shutdown speed

Answer #17
this use to be a huge issue on xp 64-bit computers. the computer would just hang on the message “windows is shutting down”.
Sometimes windows hangs/bsod’s at shutdown/reboot cause a USB device.. Try to disconnect all your usb devices and then start and shutdown your pc..
If that doesn’t work can you put your computer into stand by and then turn it off?
Answer #18
and stays that way for eternity
but duz eventually shut down ?
go to device mgr, uninstall display adapter, reboot, cancel the new hardware found, then install the file you downloaded
Answer #19
If you have windows then you can restore the system to a week back configuration at the most. System restore is the best option in cases, don’t worry, your hard drive won’t be formatted. You will only loose the recently installed softwares. Trust me and restore while you can. Restore is a guaranteed solution, softwares like uniblu, system mechanic, etc are not. You’ve my words on this.
