Rapidshare Download Quota reduced?

August 4th, 2016

I got my Premium a/c renewed on 30th of Oct. On that day when I checked the traffic left column it said Traffic left: 2629 MB which means around 2.6GB. I ignored it at start thinking it won’t be a problem. That night (31st Oct) downloaded around 4GB of data without any problem. Now yesterday night(1st Nov) when I enqueued all my links for download it was picking up poor speeds. Then later it dropped to 0Bytes & there was no transfer. I rebooted my router & tried download again & all links tuned to HTML files. When I saw the error it told me you have exceeded your 2.6GB quota. WTF! I have never got this message ever in my life. I thought RS had a 10GB limit till last month. Has there been any changes? I waited for my a/c quote to renew & just checked today morning & the traffic left still shows 2829 MB has been added & not 10GB. What’s going on out here? I’ll just post my download logs & my a/c pic:

They’ve changed their rules, 2.67Gigs added each day, carry forward unused Gigs, build up upto 10 Gigs.
You can convert traffic share Gigs into downloadable-by-you Gigs, do you have any tsgs ?

That means if I don’t use anything for a day 2.6GB gets added to it right? WTF! Is this for everyone in general or just some few IP’s?

Didn’t quite get you on this one. Can you explain in a bit more detail. Providing an example would be helpful.
Thanks for your quick reply. Appreciate it.

Quick first reply, slow 2nd
afaik… all new account are fkt this way. Mine has 200+ days left , each day I get 10 Gigs to play with, no carry forward, just 10 Gigs a day. When 200+ days run out and I renew, I will then be fkt like the rest of yawl.
I have got 55GB traffic share as backup. If I were to use up me 10Gigs I can (somehow) press a button and transfer some of the 55GB to my downloadable quota, so I can thus continue to download. Don’t know how this is done, and doubt I’ll ever find out cos am only dnldn <2GBs a day anyway. But from what I’ve read at the rapidshare homepage/newspage thing, this is what you can do when you use up all your daily allowance.

Having not yet needed to do this I can’t really provide an example.
Can do a jpeg though, this pops up when I hover over me traffic left number.
[edit] Just seen the above reply Image
[edit2] pretty certain it isn’t 54GB a day, rather 54GB in reserve, once gone, it’s gone.
