Patching Problem

i downloaded vso converter and has a engine file , which i pressume is a patch , the thing is i dont know how to use that patch , so can anyone tell me what to do .. i mean do i need to install first or something … thank you

a patch normally gets installed into where the program installed
for talking sake
your program installs to c:\programs\vso convertor
c:\programs\vso convertor is where you would put the patch file in most cases and then double click on it and follow what it says
try it and you’ll see
other type patches are included with the application you downloaded and you can just double left click on it to open it and run it from its current location

when i place the patch in c:\programs\vso convertor and click on it , it tells me to browse for something , i try to click on vso convertor icon in the program files but it does nothing
