Yeah, I’ve run across MP4s in which I want the music. I use Elecard XMuxer Pro 2.6.90825 (the release by CRUDE).
Load the MP4 in XMuxer. Select the demux tab. Select the audio stream
Click > to move the stream to the right window.
Click Start.
Let it do its thing.
If all goes well, you’ll get a sucess message.
You’ll end up with the pure audio track from the MP4 (AAC in this case) or MP3 or whatever audio they used in the MP4.
That’s it. Cheers.
Thanks , extracted the audio from the MP4 file without any problems, is it possible to change .AAC to .MP3 without quality loss?
Yes. I use dBpoweramp Reference R14.2
Illustrate.dBpoweramp.Music.Converter.Reference.v14.2-IND
After you install it, launch dBpoweramp Music Converter from the start menu. Select the AAC. It will load it in the dBpoweramp program. In the “Converting To” drop down menu, select MP3 LAME. For the highest quality MP3, select “Bit Rate (CBR)” and then move the slider all the way up to 320 kbps.
However, converting to MP3 you will lose some quality as MP3 is a lossy codec. to get Lossless, use FLAC or APE codec. I prefer FLAC.

Thanks once again, really appreciate your help!
I installed dBpoweramp Reference R14.2 and then opened Music Converter but it doesn’t seem to support AAC as I can’t find it at the location I stored it in Also the original .AAC file is 192kbps, if I increase it to 320kbps, there won’t be any problem?
No. Converting 192kbps AAC to 320kbps MP3 is the best quality you’re going to get with the MP3 codec.
Edit:
You need this codec to convert AAC:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-m4a.htm
It Decodes .m4a, .mp4, .m4b, .aac. It doesn’t come with the default codecs. You have to download it seperately.
