How to compress video files – like shaanig encodes?

You Don’t want to be compressing things any further, especially if they are already small sized rips, ur only gonna loose out on quality, only real option is to either back things up to DvD or buy a bigger hard drive
No i have 3tb of storage! I mean to compress files like shaanig does not his encodes! I want to compress scene releases into smalller size

I use Minicoder to re-encode large rips to a smaller size, u can specify the output size file with that
there are other apps that will do the same such as handbrake, Total Video Converter and MeGUI, i know a lot of ppl prefer handbrake, i think its just down to personal preference
