My PC isn’t detecting an Iphone 2G

Tried everything including
1- full battery charging
2- new usb cable
3- latest firmware update (jailbreak)
4- latest itunes update
5- restarted all services/hardwares e.t.c (small and silly tweaks)
6- even tried on my brother’s machine (same config’d pc)
7- EE (Everything Else)
Another has got any little idea regarding this issue? (other than the first 5)
I knw that my iphone is definitely alright. Because more than 100 games/apps are already present including Cydia and Idroid.. So i’m sure that no one can download hundreds of games through a wifi connection (via Cydia)
Any ideas please. Its urgenttt!!!!

does the computer charge the iphone?
if not then… it looks like you need to put it in dfu mode and do a restore =/
it sucks because you won’t be able to take a backup before you restore… but it should fix it.
this has happened to me a few times. the only time the computer notices the iphone is when it’s in recovery or dfu…

and you can try to do HARD RESET while iphone is pluged in….
