Imac update 10.5.8

so every software installation needed 10.6 so any possibliy to update?
i am also downloaded MAC_OSX.Lion.v10.7.4 but it’s doesn’t work.
any idea ? any help!!

You can try to download the 10.6 disk but if it’s like my PowerBook no new software works I have to go to oldapps.com and get older versions.. You can try the disk just put it in iMac and hold “c” while booting to boot from disk.. It’ll let you know if it’s incompatible

If it the same as the one you linked to , that one ships with OSX 10.8 and has an Intel processor. There is no reason you shouldn’t be able to install 10.6 or 10.7.
The fact that you say it has 10.5.8 installed makes me think that you have a different (older) model. Click on the Apple logo in the top left of your screen, then “about this mac” and get the specs of your machine.

Sorry.you are right when i see the photo i thinked same but it’s different the linked specification. RAM is 2GB it’s also duelcore.
my probleme is i want to install Photoshop cs6 but it’s require 10.6.8 my version is 10.5.8. (i can install but it’s too old CS5)
