I have a good Internet speed but most websites won’t load.

This is a problem that I just had this morning on my home PC. I tried getting online for a few minutes and some websites won’t open while others will open up. Yahoo, BB and YouTube load just fine. Other sites like IGN and NBA won’t open at all. Amazon and Ebay look really weird when they are done loading.

tried a different browser? checked your DNS? checked your latency? run trace routes to the hosts in question?

I am at the office so I won’t be able to post screenshots until later. When I was on the PC earlier I end up getting a message saying that the website cannot be open or something similar.

I will try doing that and seeing if it works. Why would sites like Yahoo and BB open while other sites won’t open? That is very strange.

Could be a country issue where the servers are located ……….. sometimes I have problems with all my Russian sites all at the same time.
