red cyan 3d glasses – for watching 3D movies on PC
August 6th, 2016
movies an the the 3D effects look fine, but only thing that bothers me are these red cyan 3d glasses I use, I doubt it’s any particular brand of red cyan glasses, I think it’s just the red cyan glasses color scheme in general. The thing is, the glasses kinda tend to strain my eyes to a extend.
So I was wondering, are their any other color scheme choice of glasses used to view 3D movies other than red cyan?
I think it more depend on the 3D media glasses that you use while watching the movie, I would just like to make sure?
Plus.. what would you guys say is the best 3D media player to view 3D movies, I used Stereoscopic Player, 3D Video Player SAMedia3D, KMPlayer, MPC-HC.
As well as CyberLink.PowerDVD.Ultra (which people swear by), but I still think it’s so so Are there any other players out that that are superior to the ones I’ve mentioned?
Thanx for your input
Well you can’t expect to get the best picture and colors with technology that’s over 150years old (anaglyph 3D)!
I have watched a few though and found that Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 5 was probably the best..

Well… that’s why I am asking, I know the technology is old, but when you don’t have a 3D-Tv for rendering, you are just crap outta luck
I use my PC for viewing my entire 3D collection, red-cyan glasses seem to be the viewing material of choice amongst the public.
That’s why I am looking for another avenue for viewing said movies, which require a different set of viewing glasses.
I’ll look into this software that you’ve mentioned, an does it require red-cyan glasses as the viewing glasses of choice?
P.S. I don’t have BluRay player install in my rig.
Nor do I have official BluRay 3D movies, all my movies are downloaded SBS or OU BluRay 3D files.
Red Cyan 3D sux… You wouldn’t be able to bear seeing through those glasses for more than 10 minutes at most and besides it’s not the best 3d experience by far cuz of red and blue colors overlapping one another continuously.
I am just going to invest in a decent 3DTV

I just thought viewing downloaded movies an watching them on PC with other types of galasses were optional, cause I’ve seen different color glasses spectrum’s in the viewing options.
These AnaChrome glasses seem to be the most recommended..

, that’s a good link for info. I have an interest in this as well. I really hope for a viable alternative to purchasing a billion dollar 3d tv. I will use your link and further research projector and Blu-ray alternatives. saber, please post back any improved methods utilizing reasonably priced technology.
i think best way is to buy a small 3d tv, connect it with HDMI cable with your pc.
