Application that can block

Is there an application that can block, prohibit or disallow other pc users to install a program specifically in windows 7?

You can do this to a point with Windows user names. See the link, Im sure there would also be 3rd part programs, but im unaware of any so wont comment further.

With user accounts and UAC you can block anything you wish. No need for 3rd party apps.

thanks for the replies. i don’t use passwords, administrative or user accounts so as everyone could use it when they want to. i just want to stop them from installing any programs or applications. if its not too much to ask maybe a step by step tutorial could help an ordinary computer user like me. thanks in advance.
