Meego to XP on Asus X101

I just bought an Asus EEE X101 but Meego is not for me. I have a bootable USB but when I try to boot from it nothing happens (black screen with blinking cursor). What am I doing wrong?

Edit: If your using a Sandisk U3 drive,You have to run the U3 removal tool first.
