Why is my internet slow?

My internet was perfect about 2 weeks ago and now it is so bad i am struggling to load a 240p youtube video.
I am not capped and i dont know what the problem is.
All i run on my pc is Skype and google chrome (attempting to load youtube videos) I have nothing else open.

Unplug the router for 30 seconds and then plug it back in, if it doesn’t work try it again.
(Note: A little background on why, turning the router on and off resets the connection to the ISP ensuring you get the best speed possible)

Run a speed test, and see if it’s the speed that your ISP should be providing you with.
If not, then give them a call.

Contacting your ISP a good choice but make sure your system is virus free. Some infections can cause slow internet speed.

-if you have wireless encrypt your net
-flush dns renew ip refresh ip release ip in cmd
-exit your antivirus & check
-use kaspersky products only
-unisntall any toolbar etc
-clean all history whit ccleaner & check every option
