ICONS – ico’s, png’s

been customizing folders and such and i love icons but noticed when searching through the icon directories it shows no files, they’re empty
on some it will show the .png icons and some not, some will show .ico and some not.
is it windows? aren’t both png and ico able to be used? and is there a way to make them use both or either?

Typically Windows explorer can depict those filetypes, you may need to delete (rebuild) your icon cache, google for a how-to.

i’m sorry i wasn’t clear or part of it was and u helped to answer that for me..
i should of said that when i’m trying to change the icon for the folder as in customizing it won’t let me use the .png icon’s is that how it is or can i do something to fix it?
