How to apply icons?

I have downloaded many icon packs. but i simply dunt know how to use them. do i have to go to every folder and chose wat icon do i want?
i downloaded style xp and when i click on icon there are already sets of icons but i cant add any new. when i click on add an icon set, it asks for files with these extensions: “iconset, iconzip, iptheme”. and none of these are available in the packs.
can anyone help me here?

open winstyler from that… & go to icons & change the icons for Folders, drives, filetypes etc..
