desktop

when i want to sort my icons in groups when i try to move them around the desktop they just move back in an order on the left side on the desktop. and when im moving them i can see a line in between the icons and if i let go it jsut moves there. so how do i make it so i can move them around my desktop?

Right click on desktop, Arrange Icons by… Then untick Auto arrange and you can untick the arrange in grid if you want to…

Try this:
1. Right click desktop.
2. Arrange Icons by
3. Uncheck Auto Arrange and Align To Grid.
4. Now move your icons. Good luck.
