Converting video’s/Burning video’s

February 10th, 2020

Hi
Regarding to this: http://www.google.com?t=916968&highlight=
I have somehow managed to find the right conversion for homebrew dvd players but the video is slow, very slow, it chops on the dvd player but not on my pc.
I dont understand why im having this problem, i have all the right tools, i know how to convert etc and how to burn, i just dont get it why its all pooped up.
It should be normally like this: converting from .avi(in this case DV media) to .mpeg(2) without any problems with any video converter out there, but no for me it works only with winavi video converter so the converted media that i have burned would actually play on a dvd player, with all the other converting software it didnt work, it couldnt be played on a dvd player.
Now ill just stick with winavi video converter, this is the only program that works for me, but i dont understand why the media is choppy on my dvd player, i have tested it on an other dvd player and it wouldnt play there at all. On a “normal” dvd player without divx, i have a divx dvd player but it shouldnt make any difference at all, cuz i have converted it to mpeg2, and as far as i know mpeg2 is the media format for DVD.
So please i ask of you, some person out there smart enough to help me out
Thanks

Why not simply use Nero?
For my DV camera, it simply records and converts if you select it as a video input source.
With Nero you can just burn it as a compliant DVDR for playback on your DVD player.

If you want to play it in a DVD player then burn it in proper DVD format with VOB BUP IFO files and all that !
Some thing like Nero that excepts the video from the camera and makes it into a DVD…and try burning slower

Read what i wrote, read it very carefully, you will notice that i have mentioned something like, I ALREADY DID THAT, and it doesnt work, its unplayable on my dvd player.
I have used Nero and it simply doesnt work, my dvd player doesnt recognize it at all. It wont read.
I dont know why is it so hard to understand what im typing?

Sounds to me like your burner is pretty stuffed..
Especially as it won’t play on some and is choppy on others..or just bad media..
Answer #9
BUMP AGAIN
ops… 3 bumps and one warning….
no bumping allowed
Answer #10
BUMPING IS ALLOWED MATE go ask your moderator friend who said it himself after 2 days, so every 2 days i have the right to bump my own topic ….
Let me find the post where he said that o here it is:
PS. kcim, after two days have passed a poster is allowed to bump a topic
http://www.google.com?t=935428&highlight=
You have quoted instead of coding your link.
Another rule violation.
Code ALL links even internal/Thanks-

Now i demand to remove my warning, i didnt break any rules.
#3.5 Bumping is allowed provided that the reply has relevant information that is useful to the continuance of the topic. Short intervals of bumps is not allowed to bump the topic up onto the first page by the same person.
Example: Allowed: A topic discusses a news event. The topic's discussion has died but there is new striking evidence to turn thoughts around. A reply with such information that is relevant and useful is allowed. Allowed: Requests may only be bumped once every 48 hours since the last reply. Disallowed: A one-liner reply with the words "lol". Disallowed: Bumping topics continuously to get them up to the first few pages.

This is NOT a request.
I suggest you read the rules before you demand anything.
Anymore replies such as this and you may find your account banned.

So why give me a warning for believing someone on the team that bumping is allowed every 48 hours? You should give him the warning instead for making me believe something that isnt true …..
Afterall he said it himself that it is allowed. Don’t blame me mates. And dont be so arrogant i dont like your behaviour at all, threatening me anymore replies such as this and i may get banned come on, for what? For believing someone? And i did code the links, i have quoted someone, because thats what it is, to show what someone said i need to quote his sentence, than i coded the link to that post.
You call that bumping continuously every 2 days? Continuously is every 5 minutes …. mate. Don’t you see that, didnt you notice a patern here? That every 2 days i have bumped the topic because i truly believed that person what he said , otherwise i wouldnt have done that mate.
This is supposed to be a friendly forum and not be a feaking warzone. Instead why dont you remove the warning and lets just forget about it, dont even give a warning to that guy from the team too. Just lets forget this whole situation because its giving me a headache. FFS giving someone a warning for being innocent and believing something, what in this case isnt true, and i know that now, that it isnt allowed to bump at all.
Answer #12
Its up to you to understand and follow the rules. I would never believe another member unless I can read the rule myself. What is another member told you it was OK to Flame/cuss out Coolyou? Dont believe everything another members tells you. Read and understand all the rules yourself.
Answer #13
But thats the thing he isnt just a member, he has a title PRESS TEAM, so i suppose he is a part of the team. If “just a member” has told me that it is allowed to bump every 48 hours than i sure as hell wouldnt believe him at all. Its because his title says PRESS TEAM, thats why i believed him.
But anyways, no hard feelings, im not mad or whatever, i just feel annoyed by that warning as i havent got a warning at all before, i think. Otherwise it would say now 2 warnings instead of 1 right? Or how does the warning system work? Does it go away after some time?
Cheers.
