best video converting program?
August 1st, 2016
the primary use of this program is for converting films to mp4 so they can go on a tablet, but ive noticed more and more recently that as more films are mkv and with h264 im getting alot of problems when converting with audio not being in sync.
so any suggests on a replacement program would be much appreciated
I still like Freemake Video Converter and it is free to use! No crack or serial needed.

This one.

1. Adobe Media Encoder
2. ProCoder
both are professional quality but have predefined settings for all devices and known formats
handbrake is good for noobs, megui is more on the advanced side.
choose carefully!
I have been using Format Factory for some time and it is quite good. However, if you are particular about the output file sizes then go for Handbrake.
One that I found to be very good, very similar to but more versatile than Handbrake is Xmedia recode.
It offers you a whole stack of output formats besides mkv and mp4, including avi , mov wmv, and so on.

Sorenson Squeeze and Promedia Carbon are two incredibly powerful tools to add to the list.
I will try both. Sorenson looks promising
