Try this:
1. Go to Control Panel –> Java
2. Click Advanced tab.
3. Click +Default Java for browsers.
4. Check all. Click OK and restart computer.
5. If this still does not work, try updating your JAVA. Go here:
http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_manual.jsp
Neither workd, i just got this computer a couple days ago and nothing important is on it. How would i restore to default state?
What browser are you using?
IE and i tried FF
And what versions are they? IE 7 and Firefox 2.0.0.11?
The newest ones. All this stuff didnt start happening until i uninstalled Kasersky Security Beta because i could not find a key for it. Now it hasnt been working since.
Try uninstalling Kaspersky for awhile and restart computer. Try running youtube. See if Kaspersky is giving you a headache.
