You need to be good at maths to become a computer engineer?

I’m kinda confused on what I wanna become in life
Yeah, you do need to be good at maths i guess..I’m also deciding to go into computer engineering atm! Physics and chemistry >.<
Well, sorry but you really need to be good at maths to become computer engineer. I know that since I was going to that kind of school, lucky that I’m expelled from it xD

But seriously what does maths have to do with computer engineering? :S I mean, it’s easy to learn how to fix stuff and install stuff into computers.. I kinda know a few things, but i guess the programming part is bound to maths/

visit your school’s career advisorthats the best reply on this thread and tell your advisor your willingness on computer engineering but your not good in math as for experience wise im a computer science graduate and its full of math too when im still at college
If your not a fan of maths have a look at computer networking (CISCO route). Theres some maths in it (subnet calculations) but not an awful lot. Or, as you say you create/edit videos, have you thought about doing something computer media based? Web design, video editing, graphic design etc.
i think yes math is necessary but it will not be too difficult when you have a good tutor so don’t hate math
