Xbox360 wont play new burned games

Hey mates ,
I have got a flashed xbox360 propably 1.41 version.
Now ive downloaded a few new games ( Chronichles of riddick , UFC, HAWK) and none of them are working they al start up ( after i patched the iso , so it would work with my older version xbox ) but then when i start teh game it ses i have to update the game or else it wont work , even though i havent got internet connection with my xbox i procceed with the update but every time doesnt matter wich game , it ses that i should clean the disc becouse of a error? and i used imgburn for several times and all the old games that i burn do work perfect’
Does somebody know why i get this error and how i could bypass it thx guys

You best bet is to try Verbatim DVD+R DL 8x version if you haven’t got that.
Secondly you should flash to Ixtreme 1.6 if you can, otherwise 1.51.
In my opinion they all have wave 3 partition. So your firmware is likely to be a bit too old.

i am using PPF-O-MATIC to patch the games back to an older version , or is this fake soft ?
P.S i am using verbatim discs

That patch is unreliable.

I’be got the 1.41 firmware and used the PPF-O-MATIC patch and that worked witch chronicles of riddick
also using verbatim discs and using imgburn to write the dvd at 2.4x

ye after using the patch my xbox can now read the games but it wont start them it ses it has to update the game , but every time i press update it ses error cant read disc ,, now i have found out a way to bypass the update , by just pulling out the harddisk but then again i would be able to save anything ? so does somebody know how to bypass this freaking update ? with harddrive plugged in :p
