Xbox hard drive problems after flashing

I had my Xbox flashed to play copied (burned) games, after flashing the unit my hard drive is not being detected. Obviously after flashing the drive changed something. Any advise or help would be appreciated. I have removed and installed HDD several times. No dirt or dust in unit. Tried other HDD no luck.

Last resort remove hard drive,slave it to pc and format it to Fat 32,reinstall and you should be prompted to format and install newest software
