XBOX 360 : No Picture..

I have been given a broken 360.. Everything works, controller connects, poweres up, sound works etc but no matter what there is no image on any screen with any cables.
The warranty is up and i don’t wanna pay �60 for microsoft to fix it.
Is there any way i could force rrod and use the three year warranty for that?
Or am i likely to be able to fix it using one of the 360 repair guides downloaded from the internet?

i repaired myself from a tutorial too. if u want the link i still have it bookmarked.

Make sure the av cable at the back of your xbox is plugged in tite.

You can repair the xbox yourself, but that would void the warranty.

Make sure that the switch on the xbox end of the video cable is set to the proper setting for your TV. If you have an HDTV, set it to HDTV. If you have a regular TV, set it to TV. The display won’t work if this switch is set incorrectly.
