Taking into consideration you topic about the folder search thing, I seriously think your computer has been infected with something. Do a full virus and antispyware scan and also clean out your registry with a program such as Registry Mechanic and come back and tell us if it has fixed anything. Also check your task manager processes for anything suspicious and also check the startup processes for anything suspicious (start-run-“msconfig”)
