Windows Media Missing In Win7

I recently got a dark netbook edition of WIN7, its based on ultimate, yet doesnt have windows media player along with it. I cant download a player installer, that way is for xp, it has to be included with 7. how can I get it on my system without reinstalling the whole OS?

…..Use windows embedded not these lame modded editions, You have to reinstall.
