Windows 7 Minimizing Browser problem

Well I’ve Googled and haven’t found anything definitive. Whenever i have either browser running whether it be the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla. When I try to minimize to desktop and it will just close the program. Just started happening recently. It gets irritating in having to keep starting new sessions or using the “show desktop” button. It will only close the internet browsers other folders they all will minimize accordingly.
Anybody have any suggestions besides stating to have me reinstall, system restore or ccleaner. I would appreciate it.

does it even happen when you right click on the toolbar and choose minimize ?

Just try to open mozilla in safe mode and disable all the addons and check if any new addon cresting the problem for you…
right click on the main exe file pressing the shift key makes mozilla open in safe mode,,,,,,,

Well that just takes me back to desktop, i mentioned it did actually take me back to desktop without closing the browsers. But i would like to find the root to this sudden glitch.

Well the thing is it can’t be a browser add-on issue, since both browsers do it. And i did nothing with mozilla add-on wise.
Possible it’s a skin glitch. But it wasn’t doing it on the install of the skin im currently using…I’m using custompack tools for skin installations. Maybe someone who used this program has had the same issue?
I did discover when i relaunched google chrome after defaulting all the developer flags, in settings. All my previous minimized windows had randomly popped up. There was like 4 windows from last session from where i was minimizing my browser, just suddenly open.
Basically when i minimize the browser window, it for some reason actually hides the browser window. No where i can see on the desktop, until i mess with the flag settings and do a manual relaunch. But what would control that?
