Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit to 32bit downgrade

I newly bought a new thinkpad (model sl410) and I have recently discovered that it is 64 bit. I want the system to downgrade my system to 32bit since 64bit cannot run 16bit applications. Another Question…. Can I upgrade from windows 7 premium 64 bit to windows 7 professional 32 bit ? How can I do the upgrade/downgrade requested? Is there anything special that has to be done if it is a laptop (ex: when it comes to the driver)

You can’t…Back your data…Format and install the 32 bit…
Most 64 bit drivers won’t work with 32 bit…Vista 32 bit drivers will work with Windows 7 32 bit…
