Wifi help

hi
i have a wired modem for broadband which has wifi too.
i want to access net through it on my wifi enabled mobile palm pixi plus.
wifi is detected but needs a password ..can anyone help me out where in settings i can get the password?? or can i remove the password requirement somehow
i know only my login id and password
i m in india………

Access the configuration page for your modem/router, and you can set the password there.
It will be under wireless security settings.

Do this ^^^
If you don’t know how to access your router interface open a command prompt (Win+R > cmd) and type ipconfig and pay note to the Default Gateway (ex. 192.168.1.1) of the network adapter your router is plugged into. Then go to your web browser and type that into the address bar. There you will be able to log in and look for your wireless settings.
DO NOT disable your wireless security unless you live in the country on a large plot of land. I recommend you set a secure password using WPA2, 20 characters long will do.
