Why does uploading limit my internet?

August 4th, 2018

Basically when I’m uploading my Internet goes super slow, It takes like 5 minutes to load , When I’m not uploading it takes seconds, This happens on Xp and win 7.

In the simplest terms possible, your upload is used to request information from webpages. If it’s being starved uploading data, it has to wait for little slithers to get through to the web page.

Bah, Is there anyway around it? I’m not the only 1 who uses the Internet connection!

This is not an OS issue , Just a connection issue which is completly normal,Happens to all of us
just learn to live with it , Or use netlimiter to cap your upload speed
Answer #4
As said you can cap how much upload you use (say leaving 5kb free) You can either use Netlimiter which is an awesome program, or you may have the functions on your router to do it (if you use one)

They didn’t say that you said it was an OS issue, they were just saying that it wasn’t an OS issue. ;D
