Why does my iTouch always have to be restored after cracked?

August 5th, 2016

After I have jailbroken my iTouch with blackra1n, I installed cydia, then got appsync. After I had done all that, I installed about 50 apps, and synced them all to my iPod Touch. It worked, I went onto my touch, and they were all there. The problem came after I turned it off. I turned off my touch, and 5 minutes later I turned it back on, and I got that “plug into itunes” message:

That’s because you did a tethered jailbreak which you mean you have to plug in your ipod touch into your computer before you turn on the ipod touch. You need to do an untethered jail break and I recommend using redsn0w 0.8. I successfully jailbroke my ipod using that and never had any problem when I turned it back on.

That is because you have a 3rd generation iPod Touch. Tethered jailbreaking is the only solution, as of now.
Connect your iPod to your PC and jailbreak again. That ought to fix it for the time being.
Remember, each time you restart (turn it off and then turning it back on), you’ll have to do a tethered jailbreak.
Hope this helps. Cheers!
