Which PS3 jailbreak should I get?

So I’m thinking about getting one of those usb jailbreak things but I don’t know what one is good I read PS3break is good but people commented on there Youtube channel saying not to get it because it can’t upgrade properly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1E-OUS9Y96I

Keep in mind some are fake chinese clones:
http://psjailbreak.com/ Is a known genuine jailbreak and the first out I believe. Google for some PS3 modding forums and ask around, they will know a lot more, also useful for information.
Also you can do it for free as well using a usb stick and some open source software but I don’t know about that so look on ps3 modding sites as I said. Good luck, .

Non-sense… you could NEVER, i really mean NEVER, achieve this with a usb stick… you really should read a lot mate.
It’s a hardware hack, not a softmod, so forget about usb sticks.
However it’s true that you could use a lot of means to achieve this : phones, calculators, pmps (portable media players), simple chipsets…
The open source version of the original hack was ported to many devices, just make your choice:

Jailbreak only works if your PS3 system is version 3.41 or lower. If your System is updated to any version higher than that then it wont work as the version after 3.41 has patched the PS3 ModChip Jailbreak; hence why there are so many going cheap as they have released a patch.
So that means, you can only install if you run v3.41 or lower. Don’t upgrade or the Jalbreak will be patched & it would’ve been a waste of time. Look around for a good quality vs good price.

Yeah you can’t use a regular usb stick you need to use a AVR USB board if you want to do it yourself and use the open source PSGroove or PSFreedom jailbreaks.

Yeah my PS3 firmware is updated to 3.50 so I’m going to buy another used PS3 tomorrow and buy a external HD for the games I just need a recommended place to order a Jailbreaked flash drive.
mm I wonder if those MagicJack usb devices can be reprogrammed to put PSGroove or PSFreedom on it I got one of those laying around.
