Whats the best code school site

August 4th, 2013

Hello warezz,
I’m searching for the best site to learn code. I’m looking for a site where they teach a lot of different language’s such as c sharp, python, ruby, html5, css3, actionscript 3.0, just as much variations as possible. I found http://www.codeschool.com/ to be nice but i don’t want to spend 25$ for only the amount of language’s they offer.
Anybody has good experience with another site?

This one is pretty good for Web development:

Honestly, the W3Schools website has terrible tutorials.
HTML Dog’s are much better:

This one will actually teach you something and not throw information at you randomly.
And I can’t stop myself from mentioning this:

I’ve purchased individual courses from Codeschool and had immense success. They’ve made courses free after I paid for them though, which sucked a little.
I’ve also used the following:
www.codecademy.com – Cool free method that’s different from anything else I’ve seen out there. Definitely worth a try.
Linda – Paid. Most of what I tried was way to easy and intro level and not all the instructors are good.
Learnable – Paid. Anything taught by Kevin Yank is fantastic. He’ll take you from straight beginner to mediocre, which is more than most classes can say.
Udemy – Mostly paid. There’s some good stuff, but you have to wait for the deals to come up and filter through the bad stuff.
Treehouse – Haven’t paid for their service but there are some good tutorials in the warez forum you can download.
Good luck and tell me how you get along. I’m trying to teach myself to code too and it’s tough but immensely rewarding.

I would recommend w3schools too. Neat and good explanation in subjects.
