try to removing the program you rarely use instead of install new program, mate. that will save amount of ram
Try CCleaner its freeware. And i dont like the fact you are using something that wasnt made by M$ to defrag HDD. The default defrager of Windows is the best. Go to Services.MSC and disable uneeded services. Go to MSCONFIG and turn off unnecessary things from starting at Start Up. And give TuneUp Utilities 2008 a try.
once i used to load my pc with optimizers, boosters and lots of other stuff….they only gave temporary effects….so i suggest only to have an antivirus and Advanced WindowCare …. loading ur pc with all other stuff reduces ur performance due to background services….
best way is to format the pc. You may have too much dead reg entries, un-needed folders etc Use CCleaner as suggested as well as check that the space that windows is installed on has sufficient free space left
One among the best ways to speed up your PC a lot faster is by disabling the Themes by turning the service OFF.For this, type “services.msc” (without the quotes) in RUN. A new window will pop up having a list.Scroll down and find “Themes”.Right click and click properties–>In the properties window, you can see “Startup” and it will be shown as “Automatic”.Now change the “Automatic” in “Startup” to “Disabled”.Thats it,you are done.
Another thing you will have to do to speed up your PC is by disabling your startup contents.Except KIS,disable everything else. For this, you will have type “msconfig” in RUN and under startup tab uncheck all except “avp” and click Apply.(For your information, avp is related KIS)Then restart.I assure you your PC will be a lot faster.
Now some more extra little things.Install “CCleaner” and run its cleaner and scan for issues and fix it.And of course, run a full system scan with your KIS.

Diskeeper and PerfectDisk etc all use Microsoft’s defragger API. They all do the same thing but the methods used by various programs are different. I’ve used PerfectDisk for years and I would recommend it to anyone. Diskeeper defrags too often so it actually contradicts the point of defragging which is is putting less wear and tear on the drive head by putting all the data in one place on the drive. Once a week scheduled defrag is good though. PerfectDisk is a bit more laid back and will only defrag if it thinks it can squeeze out a bit of performance. Otherwise it’ll just leave it alone.
CCleaner can’t really speed up a system as it only cleans registry and junk files. Registry cleaning is definitely not necessary and can do more harm than good and has been proven to yield 0% performance improvement
You can try disabling services that you don’t want which is probably the best way or install a slimmed down copy of XP. Go to Black Viper’s site and check his Service Configs. It’ll tell you what services are safe to disable and what not
