if you guys look at my system specs below, what power supply do you think i should be running ??? i think i may be under powered. also post recommendations and places where i can get one.
Answer #1
with that a strong 500w to 550w psu will do. We cant really suggest unless u say what country your in, different countries have their own prices and stuff
Answer #2
Any power unit over 1000 watts. I recommend the Thermaltake.
Answer #3
1000 watts and over is way too much to power all his/her requirements in his sig. i know there is no such thing as too much power but he/she will be paying a extra 200-300 bucks for one when he/she rarely needs it.
i recommend a 550-600 watt PSU. don’t get one of those cheap ones though. they burn out in a year as i learned that the hard way.

that reason and that they have a weak 12V rail meaning they cant power gaming gpu’s very well
Answer #5
I have roughly the same system. and less than 1000 watts is simply not rational to take. albeit with the overpayment of $ 200
Answer #6
1000w is overkill. Not only is it too expensive in the purchase, but you`ll notice it on your electricity bill aswell.
Answer #7
Well I am less optimistic then you guys, hes trying to SLI. 500-600 will be great for a single, but for SLI hes looking at 600-700, to be on the same side.

With such a system and 9600 GT in SLI I`d think 800 , but I`m not sure.

you’re right… i didn’t read that he wanted two cards. 600-700 would be decent to run sly.

Look at the Corsair and TT psu’s. Over $100 but they are SLI ready and not generic
