What is the driver license number?

what is the driver license number on the driver license card for? If other people see it from the internet can they hack you and lower your credit score or something? Just asking before I post my license picture on a website. So if someone got my license they can hack if so should i blocked out the license number?

your driver number is fine and most likely will not be help for any hacker. why dont you just scan the picture, go to pain and draw a black line on the number. that way you know your safe

The driver’s license number is the same as the citizen’s ID number
