What is private torrent tracker?

I don’t really understand what is a tracker in torrent world.
And especially what is a private tracker.
Can someone explane it to me, or is this already menshend in some other topic.
And is it safe to use those private ones?

Demonoid isn’t considered a private tracker, at least it shouldn’t. It’s really easy to get into it.

Btw. how do you actualy register at scene acces?
It’s hard to find invites, not all people are willing to give theirs, specially for someone they don’t know.
Personally I don’t have any invites.
