What do I need to burn a movie onto a CD?

January 23rd, 2020

I want to burn a movie onto a CD since I do not have any blank CDs or a DVD burner, so what program(s) would I need to do this and what requirements do I need to meet?
Would UltraISO be a good program to burn movies with, or is that only for burning games and such?
Also, what is the maximum file size the movie can be on the computer to put it onto a CD?

Did you mean you haven’t any blank DVDs or DVD burner?
I recommend Nero for all kinds of burning. You can find a cracked version from this site. Burning movies to CD is pretty simple. Just create a new data-CD with Nero and drag your movie from the file browser to your CD. If you have DivX/Xvid DVD player, you should be able to play the CD with it if your movie is DivX or Xvid. Usually the subtitle file must be same name as the movie.
Example: If you have movie.avi, the subtitle file must be movie.str or movie.sub (depends on what subtitle formats does your DVD player support)
The maximum size of the movie is 800 Mb if your burner supports 800 Mb (90 min, high-capacity) discs. Otherwise the maximum size is 700 Mb.
If you used 90 min discs and want to play the movie with DVD player, then the player has to support 90 min discs.

In the above case the movie has to be in .avi format.
If your DVD player doesn’t support DivX or Xvid, you can convert .avi movie to Video-CD. For that you’ll find programs and guides from Google.

how are you going to burn a movie onto a cd without any blank cd’s or a cd burner?
Answer #3
had it correct, I meant to say I don’t have any blank DVDs or a DVD burner
My main goal is to play the CDs in a DVD player.
So basically my requirements are the Nero program and a movie in AVI format.
Thanks for your help ^_^
