What are the uses of a High RAM Server?

For example, if I have high ram (6GB DDR3) and low HDD Space (15GB) what would that type of server environment be useful for? What is that server environment supposed to be used for according to it’s specifications. I’m not too sharp regarding RAM.

It can be used for any number of things, It all depends on what you wanna do with it really.
Needs>Specs. If you paid for a server with no practical use in mind, Then you’ve clearly wasted your money!

What are some environments that would be very RAM Resource intensive? Obviously, if the situation was vice versa, more storage and less RAM we know primarily what it would be used for. What can you say about more RAM and less HDD Space?

Hard drive space is cheep these days. Why not just add another drive?
Maybe more information about what your hardware is would be helpful in deciding what can be done with it.

when i virtualize win 7 clients i give them 512 ram.. 6gb is more than enough. just might not be enough for all the stuff
