W32/FakeAV.EJ.

had an email from a friend
I don't know weather you can help, but seem to have been infected with some
spyware which my antivirus can't get rid of.
I get a red circle with a white (X) in it on my toolbar, and pops up and
says windows has detected spyware infection.
My antivirus says its a W32/FakeAV.EJ.
I suppose if you can't help my next step is to format.
any one heard of this or dealt with it, i cant get on his pc at the moment

I can’t help you as I don’t bother removing spyware and viruses as i got my own way of dealing with it that don’t appeal to most people…But if Belahzur or ^|^ turn up…they will let you what can be done about it….
