Vista to XP SP3 – Internet Explorer doesn’t work.

I just downgraded from Windows Vista to Windows XP SP3.
Now i wanted to start IE but whenever i open it, it closes directly.
Please help me out.

Did you install the chipset and the Network card drivers?

its most likely because you have files from 2 versions of IE installed…Vista comes with IE7 and XP [even sp3] comes with IE6 installed.
I would check to see if you still have IE7 listed in your add/remove programs and if so, uninstall IE7,then, possibly do a repair of XP using the XP sp3 CD.
