Vista Program Compatibilty help

Can anyone tell me how to enable program compatibility tab within the properties of any application file in Windows Vista?? Thanks is advance ..

ok you right click on the program, go to the the third tab (simulation/compatibility) and then select the first square option box, the drop down list will be open and select which OS environment the program is suppose to run on. (I’m using it on vista ultimate)

there is no compatibility tab…that’s why I am asking….
